With four major international airports and 180,000 hotel rooms, the United Arab Emirates is well-equipped to host what is a historic world expo in Dubai, the largest city in the country. From Oct. 20, 2020, to April 10, 2021, Expo 2020 succeeds the 2015 universal exposition in Milan.

Dubai’s world expo will be the first hosted by an Arab nation within the Middle East, Africa, or Asia and will have a record participation of 192 nations present. Spanning just over four square kilometers, there will be over 60 live events per day as well as over 200 global food experiences. With pavilions having a variety of themes, like sustainability, Expo 2020 is fit for families, couples, and more, including business travelers. 70 percent of all visitors are projected to be from outside the Emirates.

A number of days will overlap with global celebrations, which will be celebrated at the expo. From Diwali to International Women’s Day, Expo 2020 is keen on representing the world, even in festivals. Certain themed weeks will focus on different topics to discuss, including health, agriculture, and climate. Workshops, forums, and more will help to explore these subjects.

Visitors can get a general admission one-day pass for $33, a three-day pass for $71, and monthly and season passes. Children under six years of age, adults over 65 years of age, and individuals with disabilities will not be charged an admission fee.
